The IBM Amazon Cloud

This is important I think. For some months IBM has been gearing up an initiative on enterprise strength cloud computing standards. Today, an announcement that IBM is teaming up with Amazon Web Services to make some IBM services available via Amazon. Seasoned cloud watchers may shrug and say so what? But, provided AWS is enterprise strength this marks a turning point for the cloud computing paradigm.
