Wikipedia: A study was published in 2002 linking squalene, an experimental vaccine adjuavnt to individuals diagnosed with Gulf War syndrome. Subsequently, a US judge ruled that there was credible evidence that squalene is harmful and he ordered the Pentagon to stop using squalene in October of 2004.
