Australian Thought Police Target Free Speech
'Australian health authorities have launched an attack on radio host Leon Pittard after a guest on his Fairdinkum Radio Show revealed the extent to which authorities are restricting free speech when it comes to discussing natural medicines.
The story began when Mr. Pittard posted an article and a podcast entitled “Australian government’s attack on health freedom,” which featured an interview between the radio host and Meryl Dorey of the Australian Vaccination Network.'

'By 1860, there were more than 55,000 physicians practicing in the United States, one of the highest per capita numbers of doctors in the world (about 175 per 100,000).[3] By 1870, approximately 62,000 physicians were in practice in the United States,[4] roughly about 5,300 of which were homeopathic and about 2,700 eclectic.[5] Schooling was plentiful and inexpensive, and entry to the most acclaimed schools was not exceedingly difficult. Most schools were privately owned. Licenses to practice were not required or enforced, and anyone could establish a practice.

Barefoot Doctor Healing Techniques
'The Barefoot Doctor healing techniques have mainly been identified as Chinese techniques used by the native healers of China. These practitioners would walk from village to village (thus, the name "barefoot" Doctors) and treat all manner of diseases using these tools. The Barefoot Doctor techniques include cupping, moxibustion, dermal hammer, scraping, needling, bleeding and massage. Barefoot Doctors were also skilled at bone setting.
Although they may sound like exotic Traditional Chinese Medicine therapies, these techniques are not native to just China.
The Barefoot Doctor tools are actually folk remedies, which have been, and still are, used throughout most cultures in the world. Freedom Isn’t Hunger, Sickness, Lack of Education, or Work – And It Isn’t Science Co-opted by Corporations
'All of that is truly brilliant stuff. But what Hartmann and so many others on the left don’t get is that the star of their universe—holy science—has also been co-opted by corporations. There is no freedom when the sources of scientific information are taken over by corporations—and they’re cited to support government actions.

When It Comes to Natural Health for Children, We're Living in a Police State
'Increasingly, state governments are determining what treatments a child can and cannot have—regardless of parents’ wishes. Three shocking stories prove the point.
In April 2003, Barbara Jensen took her son Parker, then twelve years old, to an oral surgeon to have a small growth removed from his tongue. The growth was diagnosed as Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. The medical center at the University of Utah recommended surgery and chemotherapy. The chemotherapy was very aggressive and ran the risk of making Parker sterile and stunting his growth.
The parents refused treatment even though doctors said chemotherapy was imperative, and instead sought second and third opinions (they believed he had been misdiagnosed) and considered alternative therapies.
The doctor who provided the diagnosis went to the state Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) and filed a medical neglect complaint against the Jensens in juvenile court, obtained a court order requiring chemotherapy, and a judge ordered the state of Utah to take custody of the boy.'

Canada Passes Bill C-36 To Finalize The Destruction of Health Freedom in North America
'Just two weeks after the United States passed the most restrictive legislation against the health freedom of Americans (the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (S.510)), its Canadian counterpart bill C-36, will now receive Royal assent and become law after a vote of 50 to 36 in the Senate. The unconstitutional legislation was no stranger in the Senate. Previous bills C-51, C-52, and C-6 were all squashed never reaching final reading status. Bill C-6 effectively died during the prorogation of Parliament earlier this year and was reincarnated as bill C-36 this past summer.'
