I'm Mad As Hell And I'm Not Going To Take This Anymore!

NETWORK 1976

Network is one of Hollywoods' finest and most intelligent movies, ever. While most see it as a satire on, well, network news, it is much more. It is a complete social satire of those times, the "70's, and it even touched on multinational corporations, international finance, the death of sovereign nations and the dawning of the One World Order. Of course there was a run on personal greed, careerism, the lack of humanity with "liberated" career women in top positions, and the masses acceptance of whatever spectacle TV had to offer. In other words, it lampooned the mesmerizing power of the tube.

The first dialog is from a scene with the CEO of a huge multinational conglomerate, Arthur Jensen, who has just purchased the TV network featuring Howard Beale, the once addled anchor man turned angry prophet/evangelist. Jensen has taken Beale into a board room with a very long meeting table, sets Howard down at one end, strides to the other end, and launches into a tirade that puts Beale in awe. It put me in awe as well!

Below that are quotes from Howard Beale's on TV rants. This movie is a must see for anyone who loves great movies and understands what is really going on in the world today. Because some things never change.

Arthur Jensen [bellowing] You have meddled with the primal forces of nature, Mr. Beale, and I won't have it! Is that clear? You think you've merely stopped a business deal. That is not the case! The Arabs have taken billions of dollars out of this country, and now they must put it back! It is ebb and flow, tidal gravity. It is ecological balance! You are an old man who thinks in terms of nations and peoples. There are no nations. There are no peoples. There are no Russians. There are no Arabs. There are no third worlds. There is no West. There is only one holistic system of systems, one vast immane, interwoven, interacting, multivariate, multinational dominion of dollars. Petro-dollars, electro-dollars, multi-dollars, reichmarks, rins, rubles, pounds, and shekels. It is the international system of currency which determines the totality of life on this planet. This is the natural order of things today. That is the atomic and subatomic and galactic structure of things today! And YOU have meddled with the primal forces of nature, and...YOU WILL... ATONE!

Arthur Jensen [calmly] Am I getting through to you, Mr. Beale? You get up on your little twenty-one inch screen and howl about America and democracy. There is no America. There is no democracy. There is only IBM, and ITT, and AT&T, and DuPont, Dow, Union Carbide, and Exxon. Those are the nations of the world today. What do you think the Russians talk about in their councils of state, Karl Marx? They get out their linear programming charts, statistical decision theories, minimax solutions, and compute the price-cost probabilities of their transactions, and investments, just like we do. We no longer live in a world of nations and ideologies, Mr. Beale. The world is a college of corporations, inexorably determined by the immutable bylaws of business. The world is a business, Mr. Beale. It has been since man crawled out of the slime. And our children will live, Mr. Beale, to see that...perfect world... in which there's no war or famine, oppression or brutality. One vast and ecumenical holding company, for whom all men will work to serve a common profit, in which all men will hold a share of stock. All necessities provided, all anxieties tranquilized, all boredom amused. And I have chosen you, Mr. Beale, to preach this evangel.

Howard Beale: Why me?

Arthur Jensen: Because you're on television, dummy. Sixty million people watch you every night of the week, Monday through Friday.

Howard Beale: I have seen the face of God.

Arthur Jensen: You just might be right, Mr. Beale.

Howard Beale: [via network television to the masses] I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. The dollar buys a nickel's work, banks are going bust, shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter. Punks are running wild in the streets and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it. We know the air is unfit to breath and our food is unfit to eat, and we sit watching our TV's while some local newscaster tells us that today we had fifteen homicides, and sixty-three violent crimes, as if that's the way it's supposed to be! We know things are bad -- worse than bad. They're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go out anymore. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we are living is getting smaller, and all we say is: Please, at,least leave us alone in our living rooms.Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel belted radials and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone. Well, I'm not gonna leave you alone. I want you to get mad! I don't want you to protest. I don't want you to riot. I don't want you to write to your Congressman because I wouldn't know what to tell you to write.I don't know what to do about the depression, and the inflation, and the Russians [terrorists and the CIA], and the crime in the street [or the organized crime in the White House]. All I know is first you've got to get mad.

Howard Beale:[shouting]You've got to say, 'I'm a human being, Goddamnit! My life has VALUE!' So I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go over to the window. Open it and stick your head out and yell,

Howard Beale:[shouting] 'I'M MAD AS HELL,AND I"M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!' I want you to get up right now, sit up, go to your windows open them and stick your head out and yell, 'I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!'Things have to change. But first, you've gotta get mad!...'You've got to say I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!' Then we'll figure out what to do about the depression, and the inflation, and the oil crisis. But first get up out of your chairs, open the window, stick your head out, and yell, and say it:

Howard Beale:[screaming at the top of his lungs] 'I'M MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!'

ANGRY CROWD FILLS D.C...

The empire is crashing. It's a staged demolition. The people at the top of the Wall Street Ponzi scheme have been gratuitously bailed out by the *taxpayers*--Huh? America has been de-industrialized, Americans are the most obese people in the world, and the national debt can never be paid back... the empire is B R O K E and so are we. We are debt slaves to the private, international banking cartel that owns America-- the central bank AKA the 'Federal' Reserve.

In May 2009 Gerald Celente warned:

"This is unprecedented; the economy being restructured."I might add from the top down. To benefit the few at the expense of the many.

VIEW: Debt Slave Documentary August 28, 2009 by NIA (National Inflation Association). "There is mounting evidence that more and more people are being sucked under by this deliberate collapse."

Homelessness is on the rise. Hundreds of thousands of people are in the process of-- or have already lost their home via foreclosure. Commercial real estate is going to be the next bubble to burst; This according to a Sept. 9, 2009 Bloomberg report titled: Commercial mortgage defaults to rise - China has an eye on US commercial real estate market. Also: Commercial Mortgage Time Bomb as foreseen by Celente.

Health Maven Ramblings

There are no democrats or republicans — there is no President — nor is there a Congress that functions in the way we have been indoctrinated to believe it functions. There is just US and THEM.

There is no A m e r i c a!

The so-called war on TERROR is really a pretext for the establishment of a fascist, one world government by the invisible ruling elite -- an international group of sociopaths.

Peak oil is a hoax. The reality is “peak profit” and global hegemony of all viable energy resources.. The oil cartel is working with the US military and a coalition of the “willing”-- as well as assorted mercenary groups to achieve this goal.

There are no “free markets.” The invisible hand that controls the economy is the mechanism of private, elite owned central banks, which by expanding or contracting the money supply create bust and boom cycles—at will.

There is no 'free trade.” Free trade is a euphemism for “no taxes or tariffs” to be paid by corporations, who are either trading with their own subsidiaries in other countries or with other corporations.

America, like most so called nations and nation states, is really a front for an international criminal cartel. Politicians (puppet celebrities) at the National level are mostly engaging in political theater. They essentially work for the advancement of their true master's agenda -- you guessed it ...the ruling elite. You can't vote them out because you didn't vote them in!

Besides voting is the opiate of the masses.

As the late, politically incorrect, comedian George Carlin, famously said: “They don't care about you. You're not part of the club!”

America is a bankers paradise. Most everything in America is owned by a bank or the government or a combination of the two.

Health freedom does not exist in America. Health care is really a disease growth industry for profit -- owned and run by Big Pharma, the FDA and the AMA (Rockefeller medicine). We have a medical mafia that suppresses natural cures, holistic medicine and anything or anyone who threatens their disease industry monopoly. Obama is brokering a sweetheart deal — on behalf of his elitist backers-- between the “health industry”--- including insurance companies — and the Congress. The pretense is that it's health care reform. It nothing more than a government backed forced insurance package. It's fascist medicine, not socialist medicine. Bottom line: it's a bailout for the health insurance industry.

The economy is essentially a vast Ponzi scheme. The elites who own the economy are currently restructuring it to ensure a much greater concentration of money and power in fewer hands, while impoverishing the rest of us. Welcome to the global plantation!

There's so much more to explain -- but time is short.

Bottom line: Direct Action. Don't try to reform a system that was never yours to begin with. Instead refuse to be helpless by doing what you know you can do –directly. For example, grow your own food and herbs, become an herbalist, make your own herbal medicines, learn how to cook and become a kitchen doctor. Start an exchange or barter system in your community. Create a blog or a community blog to share ideas about how to survive the coming economic crash. Most importantly - Wake Up NOW.

If you think when the going gets tough your government will be there to help you — research the 2005 Katrina fiasco. Many think Katrina was a dress rehearsal for future FEMA assisted 'disasters.'

Help each other. Take back your power -- otherwise it will be used against you. You can start by getting rid of your TV!
