Pandemic Driven Dictatorship Emerging in Ukraine?
'In the near future Parliament is scheduled to consider a bill that will substantially limit one of the democratic norms in Ukraine. The bill № 2450 “On the procedure for organizing and conducting peaceful activities” threatens to severely restrict freedom of assembly, which from a legal point of view is one of the most important tools for protecting the rights and interests of citizens.
Moreover, the sponsors of this legislation managed to encroach upon the rights and freedoms of people simply going about their everyday business, for example people just drinking beer together. If this bill is approved by parliament, then the chances of a “dissident” going to prison increase astronomically.'
