Gulf shrimp twice FDA poison level

 'Last week's news about Gulf shrimp testing at twice the level of poison that FDA deems acceptable was worthy, but equally so was that a news station creatively an courageously investigated the "safe Gulf seafood" myth. Within days, shrimpers reported pulling tar in their nets and most of the Gulf shrimp waters were closed, off-limits for shrimping.

Orange County, Florida's WFTV Channel 9 shrimp test differed to the government sniff test it taught shrimpers to use in "Sniff testing workshops." According to its report, "Laboratory Test Results Raise Concern Over Gulf Seafood".'
