Well about 2 posts ago I was mentioning that I was making some Raw Onion Bread from one of my favorite raw books. I had put the mixture into the dehydrator but I didn't get it finished up in time. So today I want to show you what the onion bread looks like and what I did with it.
So after I mixed the ingredients. I put it in my dehydrator. Well actually my sister's. She loaned it to me for the last year-LUCKY ME!. This is what it looks like if you have never seen one.
The dehydrator can come in many sizes and it allows you to keep the temperature at a very low heat so that the enzymes in the food are not destroyed and thus easier for your body to digest.(I will talk about that in more detail in a later post)
So this is what it looks like. There is lots of room to make different foods and put them on each tray. You can get different sizes which would determine how many trays you have. There is a range of prices.

This is a closer look at the almost dry onion bread. You can see all of the onion pieces. I used the slicer on the food processor but I much rather use the "S" blade for smaller onion piece.

Then I mixed up some avocado, cilantro, red onions and cucumbers. Sprinkle a little Himalayan Salt. Lot's of pepper and Yum!!

Who says raw food is not delicious?
