Healthy Heart and Brain
Eating fish is an important source of omega-3 fatty acids- EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) are forms of Omega-3.
***Our bodies don't produce omega-3 fatty acids so we must get them through the food we eat!!
Good choices are:
Salmon
Trout
Anchovies
Herring
Canned light tuna
Oysters.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids:
• Help maintain a healthy heart by lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of sudden death, heart attack, abnormal heart rhythms, and strokes.
• Aid healthy brain function and infant development of vision and nerves during pregnancy.
• May decrease the risk of depression, ADHD, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and diabetes.
• May prevent inflammation and reduce the risk of arthritis.

Try Fish Oil or Omega-3 Supplements
Dr. Oz talk about how there is only two brands of omega-3 pills that he would recommend and Advocare was one of them:

I take two a day around lunch or dinner. If you already have omega-3 pills and want to know if they are a good brand- break 5 apart and pour them into a shot glass and freeze them. After 40 min you should be able to stick a tooth pick through the oil- if you cant then it is cheap and not all omega in there!
