It's Not "Rocket" Science People

Hey Everyone,

I just spent the weekend in Tampa visiting Annie and watching Nate's game and I wanted to share her story with you to hopefully inspire someone to take the next steps in becoming a healthier YOU! Annie and I have grown close over the last year and I feel that she has gone the distance with everything she has accomplished. So meet Annie:



24 Day Challenge lost 14 lbs, 94 days later and another cleanse 20 lbs lighter and now 5 months later kept it off!!!!

I was talking to Chelsey one day back in March and she told me she was doing a 24 day Challenge before she came down to visit me with my nephew Nate for Spring Break.
I was thinking, what does she need to be doing a challenge for, she looks great! Maybe I should be doing a challenge. I had no idea what the Advocare 24 Day Challenge was. I knew Nate had used Advocare products to help him during training for the Ohio State NFL Pro Day.I knew he had great results, but the products he was taking were not to lose weight but assist with strength, speed and energy. Also, I remembered my best friend Michelle here in Tampa use to give me a powder energy drink called Spark by Advocare when we would be getting ready to go out.

Chelsey was looking at her calendar and was telling me she would be done with the 10 day cleanse portion of the challenge on a certain date and would end the 24 Day Challenge a day before they left for vacation. A 10 Day Cleanse...........I was thinking the WORST. I told my friend Michelle that Chelsey was doing the cleanse and next thing I knew she told me she was doing the cleanse and I didn't even know it. Well heck, I had to get on board, so I ordered the Advocare Challenge and decided to start after Nate and Chelsey visited me.

I was a swimmer in college and for the most part I knew what I needed to do to stay in shape. I never thought of myself as fat, but knew I had put on some LBS. I always thought of myself in pretty good shape and was full figured yet with an athletic build.

If I am going to do something, I do it 100%. So, I got ready for the challenge. I honestly thought it was going to be hard to do. It really was EASY. It is not rocket science, it is common sense. (Cleanse the body, eat healthy, portion control, drink a lot of water, if drinking alcohol keep it clean and work out!) Plus, I was determined and motivated both by Michelle and Chelsey who are very athletic and eat well.

I stood in front of my office of over 180 people and told them that my goal this year was to be able to wear a bikini in Cabo and feel comfortable enough not to have a towel wrapped around me when I ordered my drink at the pool bar. I succeeded!

So I started the 24 Day Challenge: Some people don't care for the taste or texture of the Herbal Cleanse. I just chugged it and got it done with. I really did not cheat. I followed the directions every day. I ate a lot of fruit, ate a lot of green vegetables, measured my proteins, drank the water when I was suppose to and worked out 5+ times a week. Plus, I took the supplements daily. So after 24 days I was 14 lbs lighter. I slowly got back to my old way of eating and drinking (Less wine more Vodka/Soda Water), but I made better decisions now. I have fallen off the wagon a bit, but am still down 20 lbs 5 months later. I really do believe in the Advocare products because they have helped me keep off the weight even when I went back to eating and drinking as I pleased but making better decisions.

I take MSN Max 3, Catalyst, Thermo Plus and OmegPlus daily
When I work out I like Spark, Muscle Fuel, Argenine Extreme, O2 Gold and ReHydrate.....I mix up what I take depending on my workout that day
I drink an Advocare Meal Replacement Shake or Muscle Gain most days for breakfast. Also, I do like the Advocare Double Chocolate Snack Bars
I do sometimes take Fibo -Trim or Carb-Ease Plus before a big meal.
My clothes became to big for me so it was fun to go shop for new fun clothes to go out in and new workout clothes!


Chelsey was very supportive of me. She would call or text me to check in. She was always very helpful when I called with food questions. She went through what the different Advocare products did for me and my body. More importantly, as a nutrition major she helped me with my eating habits. I bought a scale to weigh myself with and one to weigh my food with. She suggested the best raw nuts to buy at the Health Food Store. She taught me to look forward to my daily snack of brown rice cakes and all natural peanut butter. She educated me on all the different greens I needed to try like Kale and how to cook them. I even made fish to eat at home! She taught me to go to the grocery store so I would have the food in my house and was not as tempted to call for take out! She reminded me to make smart decisions when eating out, and stop eating when I am full.

Honestly, the best part of the experience is the reaction I get when people see me. I have some pretty "cut" arms now. 20 LBS makes a big difference in one's appearance, plus being more toned. It all goes back to making smart decisions and having a strong support system.
So, I probably should grab a water and hit the gym!
