I was there last weekend with my roommate Ashley. We were jumping up and down clapping we were so excited walking in.
I’m obsessed with the homemade peanut butter and Luna Veggie burgers. They also have an array of different vegetables that you normally can’t find. My fav- Broccolini. This goes along with my concept of changing things up to keep your body guessing.
How I cook Broccolini:
Lightly spray with cooking oil and lay on a cookie sheet after washing and chopping ends off. Add Pine nuts, salt and pepper to taste.
Bake at 400 deg for 15-20min.
We shopped around and I ended up getting egg plant and roasted veggies. It was hard to select what I wanted because they have so much to offer.
We ended this venture with a Wheat Grass shot- double of course from Bubbles Tea Juice Co.
Ultimate colon cleanse. I love their Batter & Bowl peanut protein bar.
I hope I have encouraged you to get out and see your local markets. I just went to the Worthington Farmers market yesterday with my mom I picked up egg plant, peppers, tomatoes, fresh basil and apples. Gotta love supporting to local community.
