Yoga and Traveling

Truth be told I suck at meditation. I am more of a get in the gym and go hard type of person. So I have made it a goal of mine to master yoga. Not only master it but I have a 5 year goal of becoming a certified Yoga instructor. So on my rest days I have been attending yoga classes to master the art of mind body exercises.

Hot Yoga -this is my favorite because I get to sweat. I feel like I haven't worked out unless I am completely soaked so this class really gets the job done. But it isn't a piece of cake either. I also like the challenges this class provides. Posing is difficult while trying to stay in the hot room the whole time. I encourage others to try this class if you like to be challenged.

Today I took a relaxing class at The Yoga Studeo in Millis, MA. I took Gentle Yoga with Kristen P- She was awesome!

I was pretty exhausted from my training all week so I decided a nice relaxing yoga class to get the blood and oxygen flowing into my muscles to promote repair was best. And I feel great!

I have been in Boston for the weekend celebrating with Nate. I am slowly learning my way around the place. I managed to find a gym, whole foods Market and a yoga studio to keep me busy while Nate is at practice.

My nutrition will not be sacrificed when I am traveling. It has been salmon and veggies for me for dinner and I never have trouble finding oatmeal, fruit and eggs for breakfast and of course a chicken salad for lunch. Right now I am at Panera bread enjoying a turkey avocado cob salad with the dressing and an apple on the side- hold the bacon. My only cheat this weekend was a glass or two of red wine at dinner because you can't celebrate without a toast!

Hahah love this pic. Everyone wish Nate luck with this season and you better be cheering for # 43.. Ill be there in the stands screaming for him.

Cheers!
Love always- Chels
