SWINE FLU HOAX BLOWING UP

I’m reporting on what I believe is a very fluid situation here. Some facts remain unconfirmed. The picture that is emerging is one of vast corruption, money payoffs, ties between drug companies and public-health officials—and a secret group that gave the green light to declare Swine Flu a global pandemic, when, in fact, it was no such thing.

According to the Danish newspaper, Information, the identity of this secret World Health Organization (WHO) committee is unknown. The committee advised the head of WHO, Margaret Chan, to declare Swine Flu a global pandemic in 2009.

Suspicions are growing that members of the secret committee have ties to pharmaceutical companies that manufacture vaccines.

The significance of the declaration of a level 6 pandemic is now emerging. Apparently, some nations signed on to a pact stating that such a declaration would automatically bind them to ordering massive numbers of vaccine doses.

There are further reports, based on articles in German, that a Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg, chairman of the European Parliament Health Committee, has laid an explosive motion before the EU Council: The Council must investigate the ties between WHO heavy hitters and Big Pharma, vis-à-vis the declaration of a fake pandemic of Swine Flu. According to second-hand reports, the motion to investigate immediately was passed.

For WHO to have a secret committee that is the de facto decision-maker concerning the swine flu is totally unacceptable. That is the view of the Danish People’s Party as well as the rest of the opposition parties. The Danish Minister of Health has said he will look into the case.

It’s the end of the road, cowboy. Hang up your gun, put the horse in the barn, sit in your rocker, and dream about past glories. Down a shot of rotgut, lean back, and scratch your balls.

This morning, AP is carrying an article on the World Health Organization’s assessment of the H1N1 “epidemic.”

It’s quite revealing. First, I should point out two facts not included in the story. Switzerland and Germany are trying to sell off their excess stocks of Swine Flu vaccine. In other words, the vaccine campaigns in those countries were a bust…and the governments aren’t worried enough about it to keep haranguing their citizens to get shots. No, they’re just trying to unload vials and recoup a few bucks.

Two, Margaret Chan, WHO director, still hasn’t gotten an H1N1 shot. Too busy, I guess. Can’t find anybody to stick a needle in her arm. Which is like saying the manager of a factory where they make M&Ms can’t find a piece of candy to eat.

Okay, here is the AP story, with my irritating comments in CAPS and […] brackets:

GENEVA – It is too early to declare that the swine flu pandemic has peaked worldwide and many more people could become sick with the virus this winter, the head of the World Health Organization said in an interview published Tuesday. [TRANSLATION: THE EPIDEMIC IS A BUST.]

The swine flu outbreak has peaked in the United States, Canada and some other countries in the northern hemisphere, Dr. Margaret Chan, she [sic] told the Geneva daily Le Temps. [SO THE VAUNTED “WINTER EXPLOSION” HASN’T HAPPENED. IT’S OVER. EVEN THE CDC’S INFLATED COUNT OF SWINE FLU DEATHS IN THE US CAME NOWHERE NEAR THE 36,000 DEATHS THE CDC CLAIMS OCCUR EVERY YEAR FROM ORDINARY FLU.]

"It is too early to assert that we have passed the peak of the flu A pandemic at worldwide level," she said. "Not all the countries are there yet. Winter is still long," said Chan. [STILL TIME TO INVENT MORE STATS.]

Africa and some poor countries in Asia have not seen a surge in the number of swine flu cases, which could be due to weak reporting or because the full outbreak there may be yet to come, she told the newspaper. [OR BECAUSE THERE WILL BE NO SURGE, MARGARET. YOU LEFT OUT THAT POSSIBILITY.]

Over 11,500 people are known to have died from the disease since the outbreak began in April, according to WHO. Between 250,000 and 500,000 people die from regular flu each year. [HELLO? YOU SEE, THIS IS WHAT I MEAN WHEN I TALK ABOUT BRAIN-DEAD REPORTERS. RIGHT THERE, IN THAT PARAGRAPH, IS A GIGANTIC SCANDAL. BILLIONS SPENT, UNPRECEDENTED HYSTERIA WHIPPED UP IN THE PRESS, PANDEMIC DECLARED, AND YET THE WHO SWINE FLU DEATH COUNT DOESN’T EVEN BEGIN TO MATCH STATED DEATHS FROM ORDINARY FLU THAT OCCUR EVERY YEAR, LIKE CLOCKWORK. BUT AP SKIPS RIGHT BY THIS INCREDIBLE REVELATION, AS IF IT’S NOT IMPORTANT. AP DOESN’T EVEN WONDER WHY ORDINARY FLU ISN’T DECLARED A KILLER PANDEMIC EVERY YEAR.]

When the U.N. health agency declared swine flu to be a pandemic in June, it described it as "moderate." [NOT TRUE. SWINE FLU WAS DECLARED A LEVEL 6 PANDEMIC, THE HIGHEST LEVEL. WHAT HAPPENED WAS, WHO CHANGED THE DEFINITION OF PANDEMIC, AS I’VE REPORTED. THE COMMONLY ACCEPTED NOTION OF “ENORMOUS ILLNESS AND DEATH” WAS SCRUBBED FROM THE DEFINITION. THAT’S CALLED A SHELL GAME.]

While most people recover from the illness without needing medical treatment, officials are also continuing to see severe cases in people under 65 — people who are not usually at risk during regular flu seasons. [AGAIN, NOT TRUE. EVERY YEAR, SOME PEOPLE UNDER 65 ARE SERIOUSLY ILL FROM ORDINARY FLU.]

But since flu viruses constantly evolve, experts have feared swine flu could mutate into a more dangerous form. [TRANSLATION: AND IF THE DREADED MUTATION DOESN’T HAPPEN THIS YEAR, THEN MAYBE NEXT YEAR, OR MAYBE IN THE YEAR 2056. OR MAYBE APPLES WILL TURN INTO GOLF BALLS. THIS “EXPERTS FEAR…” STATEMENT IS TROTTED OUT EVERY TIME A PREDICTED EPIDEMIC HITS THE SKIDS.]

"WHO has adopted a very cautious attitude, even more so because this has been the first pandemic since four decades," said Chan, who was scheduled to brief reporters Tuesday. [YES, PANDEMIC BY DEFINITION, BY RIGGED DEFINITION.]

Well, that’s the AP article. They’re really on the case. They just phone it in on Thorazine.

See, here is a situation where AP could have built a very convincing and true attack on WHO. The game is exposed. The whole deal, as I predicted, turned out to be a web of lies. But AP blithely moves on. This is why institutions (like WHO) that should have their funding stripped, their employees fired, and their buildings fumigated, continue to exist and cause more trouble. The press has no brain cells and no courage.

I know the mantra: “If we attack these agencies and institutions, we’ll have no more access to them. They give us hundreds of stories a year. They’ll cut us off.” Yeah, sure. Well, maybe you should realize they’re lying to you all the time, so what good are they as sources?

Of course, I’m not naïve enough to think AP cares. They and other wire services are simply participating in a charade that looks like news but isn’t news. And that’s all they need to do, really. As long as their feeds seem to be reportage and are sourced from supposed experts, the system works. If people believe a pig taken out of a pig farm can be made up with lipstick and put in front of a camera and turned into a movie star, then what difference does it make?

And as the public becomes more stupid, the glaring holes in these stories are ignored. How many people who read the AP account above stopped in their tracks, took a sharp breath, and cursed, when they saw the disparity in death numbers between “pandemic H1N1” and ordinary seasonal flu? How many people realized what that meant? How many people believed what they were seeing at that moment, and how many just moved on?

If I ran a headline shouting, PANDEMIC SWEEPS USA, SIXTEEN DEAD, how many people would buy that?

Harvard Takes it Back and Says Swine Flu was Oversold

For most of 2009, it's been the Year of the Ox in China .

For everywhere else: Year of the Swine. Swine flu, that is. And what better place to start our year-end recap of the Top Outrages of 2009 than with the fearsome H1N1 "pandemic."

I put "pandemic" in quotes because (here's Outrage Number One) it would never have been a pandemic at all if World Health Organization officials hadn't actually changed their definition of the word.

Before May 2009, a pandemic required "enormous numbers of deaths and illness." Once those six words were removed from the definition, the pandemic was on! And so was the gold rush. Governments all over the world placed orders for hundreds of millions H1N1 vaccine doses.

Just two months later (Outrage Number Two), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advised state health officials to do two things. 1) Stop testing patients for H1N1. 2) Stop counting cases of H1N1.

A CBS News reporter thought that was a bizarre move in the middle of a pandemic. So she asked CDC officials: Why stop testing and counting? The CDC response: No comment. So the reporter went state to state, checking on flu numbers and found that confirmed H1N1 cases accounted for only a small fraction of the total number of flu-like illnesses.

Gee. It's almost as if there were no pandemic at all!

As the year closes, the only thing we can say for sure about H1N1 is that this mild flu has sold a boatload of vaccines that have been slow to arrive.

One word: Outrageous!
