Recently I was given the opportunity to review a pair of sunglasses from Ryders thanks to Scott at Outside PR. There were so many options to choose from, I couldn't decide, so I asked him to pick for me. He sent me these bad boys...
The VTX in black |
totally badass |
I wore them to both of my PR races 2 weekends ago since they matched my outfit a little better than my pink & white oakleys. What did I think? I thought they were wicked comfortable. Not too tight around my head like a lot of sunglasses I've tried on are. I also love that they come with 3 different lens change outs, so you can adjust to what the weather is like outside. Ryder also makes sunglasses that are photochromatic (change automatically to light conditions) & polarized (glare reducing). Back when I was a lifeguard, I would have died to find a pair of these polarized glasses as an affordable alternative to my oakleys (that I ended driving over). They are priced a little higher than I like to pay for sunglasses (my daily ones are $10 cheaps from the mall), but thats because I lose, destroy them easily. Running glasses, I take better care of, so thats my excuse to splurge. Ryders are definitely more afforable than many of the brands out there (The VTX retails at $60).
Overall I really like them & am wicked glad to have a different color to add to my sunglass choices. Do YOU want a chance to win a pair of Ryders Sunglasses?
