US Psychiatrists Join with US Insurgency

'The psychiatrists represent the ultimate parasites upon human existence, as they produce absolutely zero products, yet wish to be empowered and compensated to the extreme. And to accomplish this goal they will attach themselves to the soviet socialist insurgency, as they have in every instance in the past where the opportunity has presented itself.

Psychiatry and the charlatans that push it are more dangerous than any weapon ever contrived through the minds and hands of man. We perceive reality through a constant evaluation of the stimuli we receive through sight, touch, sound, and the emotions derived from all.
The power the psychiatrists would like to exercise over us, they seek to establish through a perception of the reality created by the insurgent propagandists and published through the mainstream, which any free thinking person knows is about as far away from the truth of the natural condition we find ourselves in as it is possible to get.'

If the Latest Theory of Mental Illness Is Correct, Then Drugs Genetically Engineer Brains.

Human-Nature Convergence
Painting by Salvador Dali

by Michael Cornwall, Ph.D.

'The report—entitled “Epigenetics of Major Psychoses: Progress, Problems and Perspectives”—was supported by the Canadian Institute for Health and the National Institutes of Health. It represents the cutting edge science on the brain, genetics, and so-called psychiatric disease.
To me this report heralds an Orwellian prophecy of hugely ominous proportions. Anti-psychotic and mood altering agents are being cheerfully seen as acceptable gene modifying substances that reverse the genetic misregulation that is boldly claimed to underlie so-called schizophrenia and bi-polar.
This is the new model. No more unproveable, debunked chemical imbalance theory of causation. Now we read:'

The Killing Fields of Psychiatric Drugs, and Making a Killing

http://danrivers.files.wordpress.com/2010/07/skulls1.jpg

'Through the development of an utterly fraudulent standard of care, psychiatrists and Big Pharma have been making a killing.

Psychiatric appointments were once one or two hours long. People talked to them and tried to work their problems out. Now, though, appointments can be as brief as five minutes—and patients virtually always walk out with a diagnosis and either drugs or a prescription for drugs. Big Pharma makes billions of dollars from these prescriptions.

The top three antipsychotics alone gross more than $13 billion a year. Psychiatrists get rich, some making millions, prescribing these poisons.

The other side of this killing made by psychiatry and Big Pharma is the killing of patients. The drugs given, and sometimes even forced, are destroying lives and killing people.'

7 Reasons America’s Mental Health Industry Is a Threat to Our Sanity

'Drug industry corruption, scientifically unreliable diagnoses and pseudoscientific research have compromised the values of the psychiatric profession.

The majority of psychiatrists, psychologists and other mental health professionals “go along to get along” and maintain a status quo that includes drug company corruption, pseudoscientific research and a “standard of care” that is routinely damaging and occasionally kills young children.

If that sounds hyperbolic, then you probably have not heard of Rebecca Riley, and how the highest levels of psychiatry described her treatment as “appropriate and within responsible professional standards.”'

Prescription For Manslaughter Trailer

Canadian Judge Rules SSRI Antidepressants Like Prozac Can Cause Children to Commit Murder

'The use of antidepressant and psychiatric drugs, particularly among children, is an extremely risky activity that could have fatal consequences for both the individuals that use them, as well as their friends and family. According to the National Post, a Canadian judge recently ruled that the extreme mind-altering effects of the antidepressant drug Prozac were in large part responsible for causing a 15-year-old boy to thrust a nine-inch kitchen knife into one of his closest friends.

Though the Winnipeg boy that committed the heinous crime had allegedly abused prescription drugs and "experimented" with cocaine long prior to the incident, he had never had a violent or aggressive personality about him, according to reports. It was only when he began taking Prozac, the very thing doctors had given him as a so-called "solution" to his previous illicit drug problems, that he began to rapidly go off the deep end.'

PET Scans: Proof That Depression Is a Chemical Imbalance or a Psychiatric Delusion?

 http://purposeconsultant.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/big-pharma.jpg

'According to pharmaceutical drug-based psychiatry, depression is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. In spite of decades of research, this has never been proven. Now though, we’re seeing claims from medical science that PET scans prove there is a physical basis for depression. Are those claims meaningful—or merely flummery designed to give an impression with no bearing on reality?'

Psychoactive Drugs Are the Cause of Most Mental Illness.

http://static.wix.com/media/43e04d6a45dec01678b9b6c97edf0d0f.wix_mp
'Psychiatry has been trying to pass itself off as real medicine along the lines of other medical professions like gastroenterology and neurology. To accomplish that goal, they made a decision to promote mental illness as physically-induced and drug-treatable. The American Psychiatric Association (APA), the National Institute for Mental Health (NIMH), and the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) colluded with Big Pharma to convince the world that up is down and black is white.'

Are You Mentally Ill? If You Drink Too Much You Are, Says Big Pharma

'It's no secret that Pharma is trying to replace its declining pill franchise with optional vaccines like the HPV vaccine which Texas Gov. Rick Perry tried to mandate for adolescent girls.

Vaccines are expensive, can be mass marketed to vast swathes of the population and are usually immune to generic competition, pun intended.

One reason for the switch away from pills is that doctors are increasingly wary of prescribing new "blockbuster" drugs after the recalls of Vioxx, Bextra, Baycol, Meridia, Trovan, Fen Phen and new warnings on asthma, epilepsy, pain, bone and hormone drugs.'

Are Psychiatric Medications Making Us Sicker?

http://911verses.com/graphics/illustration003.jpg

'I first took a close look at treatments for mental illness 15 years ago while researching an article for Scientific American. At the time, sales of a new class of antidepressants, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRI's, were booming. The first SSRI, Prozac, had quickly become the most widely prescribed drug in the world. Many psychiatrists, notably Peter D. Kramer, author of the best seller Listening to Prozac, touted SSRI's as a revolutionary advance in the treatment of mental illness. Prozac, Kramer said in a phrase that I hope now haunts him, could make patients "better than well." '

Taking Antidepressants Nearly Doubles Your Chance of Relapse

Woman in Anguish, by Gina Tyler

This wonderful painting is by Gina Tyler, both a talented artist and a talented homeopath.

'Not only does this study demonstrate that antidepressants worsen the condition, it also shows that the underlying theory of a chemical imbalance is a bunch of hooey.'

'A new study demonstrates that using antidepressants nearly doubles the chance of suffering a major depressive relapse—and soon after discontinuing the drugs. This, of course, creates a vicious cycle that results in dependence on the drugs.

Published in the journal, Frontiers of Evolutionary Psychology, another highly signficant finding was made. Not only do antidepressants worsen the condition they're meant to treat, the underlying theory that there is a chemical imbalance in the brain is pure nonsense. Antidepressants do not treat an imbalance. These drugs actually create it!'

TOP PSYCHIATRIST TRASHES HIS WORK

 http://freedompressnews.com/images/drugs_dees.jpg

'I recently learned about a teen whose life was turned inside out and ripped from him. A psychiatrist had diagnosed him at a young age with ADHD, given him Ritalin…and then the parade of newer diagnoses followed—Clinical Depression, Bipolar, Oppositional Defiance Disorder—and the boy ended up on Valproate and Risperdal, two powerful toxic drugs that dropped him over the cliff into psychosis.

Does this seem impossible?

What lies behind the story, one that is happening with increased frequency all over the world—every day.'

Can Psychedelics Make You Happier?

Research suggests that psychedelics may be better than antidepressants, which tend to dampen or suppress psychological problems without necessarily curing them.

'In the last decade, research into the effects of psychedelic drugs on consciousness has become a growing field of study in American academia. Psychologists at UCLA, Johns Hopkins Medical School and NYU, among other places, have published research showing that psychedelics can promote happiness in ordinary people, as well as alleviate depression and anxiety among the terminally ill. The positive effects of taking psilocybin Mike described are similar to many of the case descriptions contained in these studies (though no doubt none of the researchers involved would endorse his actions).

In the fall Charles Grob, a professor of psychiatry and pediatrics at the UCLA School of Medicine, published a study in the leading journal Archives of General Psychiatry finding that people with terminal stage-IV cancer reported feeling dramatically less anxiety after taking a small, measured dose of psilocybin during a carefully administered experiment. Grob and his team checked in with their subjects after three months, and then again after six months; in each case, the subjects reported more benefits as time went on.'

Big Pharma Ploy to Force More Dangerous Drugs On Our Children: Children's tantrums may be re-classed as psychiatric disorders

Medical Fascism Ensures Big Pharma Profits Increase

'Childhood temper tantrums, teenage irritability and binge eating may soon rate as psychiatric disorders in the US, according to proposed changes to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, the bible of the psychiatric profession.

The proposals are the product of a 10-year effort to update the handbook, which influences the vast network of American healthcare providers, insurance companies, courts, prisons and universities. At stake are billions of dollars in insurance payments, pharmaceutical sales and medical fees. The proposed revisions, published online today , will be subject to public comment until late April.'
