Big Pharma and Collaborators Resort to Underhanded Tactics in Push to Ban Homeopathy

'Ever since I released my book "Codex Alimentarius – The End of Health Freedom" and began speaking out about the coming destruction of access to vitamin and mineral supplements inside the United States and the rest of the world, I have been met with the tired response of “it won’t happen here.” Of course, saying “it won’t happen here” is generally a guaranteed method of ensuring that whatever you are claiming can’t happen will happen.

Nevertheless, the historically naïve masses - even those who are aware enough to seek out natural supplements and healthy food - still believe that the supplement lobby and the natural health industry are too large to be brought down by restrictive laws. The people, they say, would never allow it.'

All Things Are Not Created Equal: Huge Gaps In Quality In The Natural Health Industry

'Dr. Eldon Dahl explains how product quality is being sacrificed for convenience and price point ultimately creating an entire industry filled with supplements of non-therapeutic value.

Think of the natural health industry as a beautifully healthy, organic orange tree. Now, if you can imagine, cut a wedge in that tree’s trunk, and graft in a foreign branch that is not from the origin--for instance, a nonorganic lemon tree branch. Once the original tree accepts the new branch, both the orange and the lemon will feed from the same roots.

Using this illustration, imagine the lemon branch as a grafted in government-regulated health product, having non-therapeutic value, and a price-directed licensed formulation. Both are feeding from the original roots--that is, the natural health food industry--but one is efficacious, while the other is not. The two are not equal. What is the difference? The lemon was never intended to be part of the original tree, yet through regulations it remains protected while it feeds from the original host.'

Supplements: The Real Story - Natural or Synthetic? Foods or Tablets?

Oranges1.jpg

'It's a nutritional "Catch 22": The public is told, confusingly: "Vitamins are good, but vitamin supplements are not. Only vitamins from food will help you. So just eat a good diet. Do not take supplements!

But by the way, there is no difference between natural and synthetic vitamins." Wait a minute. What's the real story here? A recent health study reported that the risk of heart failure decreased with increasing blood levels of vitamin C [1]. The benefit of vitamin C (ascorbate) was highly significant. Persons with the lowest plasma levels of ascorbate had the highest risk of heart failure, and persons with the highest levels of vitamin C had the lowest risk of heart failure.

This finding confirms the knowledge derived over the last 50 years that vitamin C is a major essential factor in cardiovascular health [2,3]. The study raises several important questions about diet and vitamin supplements.'

Saving Nutritional Supplements: A Battle For Nature, Truth, and Life Itself

'We know how hard people are fighting now to save the economy, to stop the wars, to prevent more nuclear power plants, mountain top mining, fracking, and more drilling, to stop genetic engineering, and incredibly importantly – save our farmers and ranchers.

But what is happening to supplements is little noticed but is of ultimate importance. The battle to save supplements is a battle to save nature and the accumulated wisdom of thousands of years of using it to heal.'

THE FDA's SCHEME TO RECLASSIFY NUTRIENTS AS DRUGS

'The FDA and Senator Durbin’s latest attack against the dietary supplement industry should leave consumers for natural health options at affordable prices up in arms. This attack will target some of the most popular and effective dietary supplements, removing them from the free market and placing them under control of large pharmaceutical companies. This move will drastically drive up the price of dietary supplements while severely limiting access to extremely safe and effective nutrients.

For example, the GlaxoSmithKline prescription drug version of DHA fish oil (at a therapeutic dose) sells for $189 a month, whereas the equivalent, therapeutic amount of molecularly-distilled DHA sells for $35 a month in the dietary supplement marketplace. Proven to lower triglyceride levels at therapeutic amounts, it is not surprising that DHA is one of the first nutrients the FDA plans to go after. Other powerful nutrients, such as curcumin and resveratrol, are soon to follow.'

Alert: Protect Your Right To Natural and Bio-available Vitamin B-6!

'Human beings cannot live without vitamin B-6. It is also important for the prevention of cancer and the prevention and treatment of seizures, anemia, mental disorders including schizophrenia, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other conditions. Its effect on carpal tunnel can seem almost miraculous.

A natural form of the vitamin, Pyridoxamine, was recently yanked off the market by the FDA. Why? Because a pharmaceutical company, BioStratum, wanted sole use of pyridoxamine in a drug, a drug which may or may not ever appear. The company filed a so-called citizens petition and the FDA agreed, notwithstanding protests from ANH-USA, other organizations, and thousands of citizens. You might ask: how can Pharma take a supplement off the market and claim exclusive use of it as a prescription drug? The FDA does not presently feel obligated to answer this question.'
