In April 2003, Barbara Jensen took her son Parker, then twelve years old, to an oral surgeon to have a small growth removed from his tongue. The growth was diagnosed as Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. The medical center at the University of Utah recommended surgery and chemotherapy. The chemotherapy was very aggressive and ran the risk of making Parker sterile and stunting his growth.

The parents refused treatment even though doctors said chemotherapy was imperative, and instead sought second and third opinions (they believed he had been misdiagnosed) and considered alternative therapies.

The doctor who provided the diagnosis went to the state Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) and filed a medical neglect complaint against the Jensens in juvenile court, obtained a court order requiring chemotherapy, and a judge ordered the state of Utah to take custody of the boy.'

Vaccination and forced child removal

You pursue a second opinion, and another physician recommends that you wean your daughter off Risperdal. You do this and she improves.

Someone doesn’t like this. You don’t know who it is. He or she contacts Child Protective Services. CPS says that you need to stay on the original treatment plan. CPS issues you an ultimatum: continue the Risperdal or surrender your child.'

But here's an interesting excerpt from elsewhere: 'In September 2000, The Lancet reported a study which showed that the drug tamoxifen, often used to treat breast cancer and as a preventive in some high risk women as well, increased the risk of developing endometrial cancer. In addition, this risk increased with time, leading researchers to question the use of the drug in healthy women. It found that women who took tamoxifen for 2 to 5 years had twice the risk of the cancer as women who have not taken it. Women who had taken it for 5 years or more have a seven times higher risk of endometrial cancer. The total increased risk for all women who used tamoxifen at all was 50%. Advanced endometrial cancers were more common in women who had taken tamoxifen long-term than in those who had not. The 3-year survival for endometrial cancer was "significantly worse" for long-term tamoxifen users.' Excerpted from this article here ...

Pneumonia Vaccine Approved as Deaths Mount During Trial

The only argument against the claim that 14 children have died as a result of GSK's Synflorix test is the weak statement from GSK that the deaths weren't caused by the vaccine. That statement has never been backed up with facts. The Argentinian department that has said it would investigate is run by the brother of one of GSK's lead investigators.^(9)'

So, for all practical purposes, there are no safety studies for Synflorix. That's not unusual in the world of vaccines. In fact, it would be unusual if there were a study. That, though, does not justify the lack in this case. What's clear is that the public's safety is not of much concern to the regulators.
The truth of Synflorix seems to be contained within the first syllable of its name.'
